Trials and tribulations of UniThe first few weeks your making friends  Pinching a bite to eat or a few quid  Hanging out and having a laugh  Helping each other through essays   
After a month or so you're in the work  Up to your neck in piles of reading  Staying up all night long for days  Trying to get that assignment done   
Then come all the silly arguments  A falling out over something daft  The silent treatment for a week or two  And nasty messages on facebook   
Maybe after its all blown over  We'll start talking all over again  Or maybe we'll carry on our lives  Ignoring each Trials and tribulations of Uni

Sonnet V1The leaves hanging on the trees are changing again  And fresh cold winter air is starting to bite  Now the evening's come with even less light  As the heat of the mighty sun begins to wane  And this time of year there's so much more rain  Soon the bitter chill will come with all its might  Then the snow will fall brilliantly white  Colour from the world will begin to drain  But the joy of Christmas is gathering in the air  And the children playing laughing in the street  Queuing up for Santa, who they will meet  Stroking all the reindeer, having lots of fun  Singing all the carols wi Sonnet V1

The Girl Under the UmbrellaShe hides under her black umbrella  Sheltering from their piercing looks  Hiding her face in the darkness  This her mere shred of comfort  A single light in the gathering night  Keeping her moving forwards   
Her heart is breaking inside her  She wants to scream but can't  Instead she has to hide everything  And just carry on walking home  Not showing any signs of weakness  The only thing she has is her umbrella   
All she wants now is to be free  To release all her bad emotions  But she can't even shed a tear  And has to carry on as normal  Hiding her f The Girl Under the Umbrella

Busy doing nothing

First apologies for my complete lack of journal entries and deviations I've been quite busy even though I've not really managed to get much done. Not sure where all the time has gone but it's disappeared somewhere and I've come to the end of my reading week having managed a visit home and some light reading but not much else - unfortunately.

Moving on, I'm trying to get my sonnet for Uni finished so I can post it on here and do some more poetry for myself - not that I don't enjoy the stuff I'm doing at Uni its just so much hard work! Also a lot of the other work is fun but then some of it is a bit boring - but it all has to get done at the end of the day.

Generally feeling a lot happier and feel like I'm really getting into a bit of a routine - slightly ruined by a week of - but still present. Also I've managed to get a job which will take up some of my time but I'm getting something good out of it - experience (and money) so I'm pleased about that.

Apart from that not much to report really just hope that I can get some more deviations up for you soon. Thanks for listening!
