Weighing heavy on my mind
Confusing all of my thoughts
I continue on through
The tress closing in around me
I feel their evil eyes on my back
Their branches reaching out
With cold and grasping hands
Pulling at my hair from its ties
Ripping the hem off my dress
Scratching at my pale skin
I run from their wicked hands
Running until my lungs burn
I find the edge of the forest
And breathe the fresh air

"Name?" Lieutenant Hall peered at me over the top of a thick stack of papers.
"Stephens," I replied, "Anne Stephens."
The Lieutenant's eyes flitted up and down the paper as he checked his list,"You're not on here," he said gruffly, dismissing me with a wave of his hand. "And you, Sir?"
"Murray. Officer Murray," Charles reached for my hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. I smiled.
Hall frowned, bushy grey eyebrows coming together to form one disapproving hedge, "Only wives are allowed passage on this vessel, Mr. Murray, and only a select few at that. I don't know what you think y
. So yeah a time turner would be useful right now.
